Who we are and what this covers

SwoonPost is a social media assistant for small businesses that plans, drafts and schedules posts for Instagram and TikTok, operated by The House of Zavozina, LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company ("we," "us"). This policy covers the SwoonPost website at swoonpost.com, the web app at app.swoonpost.com, and the SwoonPost Chrome extension.

SwoonPost is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Meta, Instagram or TikTok.

Information we collect

From you, when you sign in. We use Google Sign-In. Google shares your name, email address, profile picture and a unique account ID. We never see your Google password.

From accounts you connect. If you connect a social media account, we receive the access the platform lets you grant us, such as your account name and ID, your posts and their captions, and engagement numbers like views, likes, comments and saves. If you connect Google Drive, we can see only the files and folders SwoonPost creates or that you pick for it.

Content you add. Photos, videos and audio you capture or upload through SwoonPost, plus the captions, tags, notes, brand voice settings and schedules you create.

Records we keep for you. A posting record of which media was drafted, scheduled, approved and published, where, and when, so SwoonPost can warn you before you repeat a post.

Technical information. Basic logs such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages used, and error reports, which we use to run and secure the service.

We do not collect payment card numbers. If paid plans launch, a payment processor will handle card details under its own privacy policy.

How we use your information

We use your information only to provide the SwoonPost features you see and use:

  • Sign you in and keep your account secure
  • Store and organize your media library
  • Draft captions and suggest hashtags, posting times and content ideas in your brand's voice
  • Show you a preview and an approval queue, then publish or schedule posts you approve
  • Keep your posting record and warn you before you reuse media
  • Show analytics and coaching suggestions based on your own account's results
  • Fix problems, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations

We do not sell your information. We do not use it to show you ads or share it with advertisers, data brokers or information resellers.

AI processing

SwoonPost uses Google's Gemini models through Google Cloud to draft captions and analyze your content and results. Google processes this data as our service provider and, under its Google Cloud terms, does not use it to train its models without our permission. We do not use your content, or any data from Google, Meta or TikTok, to train or improve general-purpose AI models.

AI drafts can be wrong. Nothing SwoonPost drafts is published until a person on your account approves it.

Who we share information with

  • Social platforms, at your direction. When you approve a post, we send the media and caption to the platform you chose.
  • Service providers. Google Cloud hosts SwoonPost and stores data in the United States. Google Firebase and Identity Platform run sign-in. They may only use the data to provide their services to us.
  • People on your team. Members you invite to your SwoonPost workspace can see that workspace's media, drafts and records.
  • Legal and safety. When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of users or the public.
  • Business transfers. If The House of Zavozina, LLC merges or sells the SwoonPost business, your information may transfer to the new owner. We will tell you first, and data from Google accounts will move only with your consent.

Google user data

SwoonPost's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google data What SwoonPost does with it
Name, email, profile picture, account ID (Google Sign-In) Creates and secures your SwoonPost account
Google Drive files SwoonPost creates or you pick (the drive.file permission) Saves your captured media to your SwoonPost folder and reads it back to build posts

We use this data only to provide and improve the features you see in SwoonPost. We do not transfer it to others except to provide those features, for security, to comply with the law, or in a business transfer you consent to. No person at SwoonPost reads it unless you ask us to (for example, in a support request about a specific file), or when needed for security or legal reasons. We do not use data from Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine learning models.

Instagram and TikTok data

Instagram (Meta). When you connect an Instagram professional account, we receive the data you authorize, such as your account name and ID, your media and captions, comments, and insights like reach and saves. We use it to publish posts you approve, keep your posting record, and show your analytics. We handle it under Meta's Platform Terms.

TikTok. When you connect a TikTok account, we receive the data you authorize, such as your display name, avatar, account ID, posting options and video statistics. Before anything posts, you see a preview, choose its privacy setting yourself, and confirm the upload. We never add our own logo or watermark to your content.

Disconnecting an account in SwoonPost stops our access. You can also remove SwoonPost's access from your Google, Instagram or TikTok account settings at any time.

Location and photo metadata

Photos and videos often carry hidden metadata, including the GPS location where they were taken. SwoonPost removes location and device metadata from every copy it publishes or shares with a social platform. The original in your library keeps its metadata so you can still sort and find your own files.

How we protect and keep your information

Your data is stored on Google Cloud in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside SwoonPost is limited to the people and systems that need it to run the service.

Publishing copies sit on a public web address only while a platform downloads them, and are deleted once the post is confirmed, or automatically within two days at the latest. Your library, posting record and settings stay until you delete them or close your account. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

Deleting your data

  • Delete an item: remove any media, draft or record inside SwoonPost.
  • Disconnect an account: stops our access to that Google, Instagram or TikTok account. We delete the data we received from it within 30 days.
  • Delete everything: close your account in SwoonPost settings, or email privacy@swoonpost.com with the subject "Delete my data" from the address you sign in with. We delete your account data within 30 days and confirm by email.

Copies you keep in your own Google Drive, and posts already published on social platforms, are yours to manage there. We cannot delete them for you.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your information at privacy@swoonpost.com. We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights under laws such as the GDPR or US state privacy laws, and we will honor them.

Children

SwoonPost is a business tool for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have.

Changes to this policy

We will post updates here with a new effective date. Before we use your information in a new way, we will tell you in the app or by email and, where required, ask for your consent.
